Privacy and Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
This website collects personal information in three ways: the contact form, which sends us your name, email, phone number and message; the server logs our host keeps when your browser requests a page; and analytics and advertising cookies. Which cookies are on by default depends on the country of your IP address. If you are in the United States, analytics cookies are on until you turn them off, and advertising cookies are off until you turn them on. Everywhere else, and when we can’t tell where you are, both are off until you turn them on. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page. This policy explains what each one collects, who receives it, and how to ask us about your information.
This policy covers www.thetrafficticketattorneys.com, operated by The Traffic Ticket Attorneys, 314 E Broadway Ste B, Glendale, CA 91205.
What We Collect and Where It Comes From
| Category | What it is | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Your first and last name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number | You, through the contact form |
| Your message | Whatever you write in the message box | You, through the contact form |
| Device and connection data | Your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request | Your browser, automatically, when it requests a page from our host |
| Site use (analytics) | The pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type, and two events: a contact form submission and a tap or click on our phone number | Google Analytics, while analytics cookies are on: by default in the United States, and elsewhere only if you turn them on |
| Ad response (advertising) | Whether you reached the site from one of our Google ads, and whether you then sent the contact form | Google Ads, only if you accept advertising cookies |
The form submission and phone events record that the action happened and on which page. They do not contain anything you typed into the form or the phone number you call from.
This site has no chat window, no comments, no user accounts and no online payments.
How We Use It
- Contact details and your message: to read your inquiry and reply to it by email or phone.
- Device and connection data: to deliver the site to you, and to keep it secure and working.
- Site use: to see which pages visitors read and which lead them to contact us, so we can improve the site.
- Ad response: to measure whether our Google ads lead to inquiries.
We do not use sensitive personal information from this site to draw conclusions about you.
Who Receives It
Personal information from this site goes to these companies:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website. Its servers receive the device and connection data above with each page request, keep server logs, and look up the country of your IP address so the site can show the right cookie banner. Netlify also receives and stores contact form submissions and forwards each one to us by email.
- GoDaddy hosts our email. The contact form submissions Netlify forwards to us are received and stored in that email account.
- Google LLC provides Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google Analytics runs only while analytics cookies are on, and Google Ads only while advertising cookies are on. Google Tag Manager loads when either one is on. Which of them is on by default depends on where you are browsing from, as described under Cookies and Your Choice.
Apart from these companies, only our firm receives your contact form messages.
We do not sell the personal information collected through this site. We share it only with the companies named above, for the purposes this policy describes.
When analytics or advertising cookies are on, Google can collect information about your use of this site and other sites over time. Google’s use of that information is described in its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies and Your Choice
The cookie banner offers three categories. Necessary cookies are always on. Whether analytics cookies are on by default depends on where you are browsing from. Advertising cookies are off until you turn them on.
| Category | What it does | Cookies | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice | cc_cookie, set by this site, kept for 182 days | Always on |
| Analytics | Shows us which pages visitors read, through Google Analytics | _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, set by Google | In the United States, on until you turn it off. Elsewhere, off until you turn it on |
| Advertising | Shows us whether our Google ads bring visitors to the site | _gcl_au and other cookies beginning _gcl or _gac, set by Google | Off until you turn it on |
Google sets the lifetime of its own cookies, and lists them at https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
What is on by default depends on the country of your IP address:
| Where you are browsing from | Analytics | Advertising |
|---|---|---|
| The United States | On until you turn it off | Off until you turn it on |
| Anywhere else, or a location we can’t determine | Off until you turn it on | Off until you turn it on |
How we tell where you are. When you request a page, our host, Netlify, looks up the country of your IP address. The site uses that country only to choose your defaults and which cookie banner you see. It does not store the country or set a cookie for it. Addresses in US territories, such as Puerto Rico and Guam, get the defaults for visitors outside the United States. If you have already made a cookie choice on this site, your choice applies instead of these defaults.
If you are in the United States, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load with the page, before you choose. Google Ads does not run until you turn on advertising cookies. Everywhere else, until you choose, the site loads nothing from Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or Google Ads. If you choose "Reject all", or "Turn off analytics" on the banner, none of them load from then on. In the United States, where Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics have already loaded, the choice also deletes the Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without them.
To change your choice, select "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page. If you turn off analytics or advertising, the site deletes that category’s Google cookies and reloads the page without them. In the United States, the banner’s "Turn off analytics" button does the same in one click. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The banner then asks again on your next visit, and in the United States analytics is on again until you turn it off.
The site also keeps one short-lived note in your browser’s session storage when you send the contact form, so the confirmation page can count the submission once. It holds only the form’s name and the page it was on, and it is cleared when the confirmation page loads or when you close the tab.
Do Not Track
This site does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. The defaults described under Cookies and Your Choice apply whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track.
How Long We Keep It
- Contact form submissions: kept in Netlify and in our email with no set deletion date.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify for up to 30 days.
- Google Analytics data: data tied to individual visits and events is kept for 2 months. Totals in Google Analytics’ standard reports are not affected by this limit.
- Your cookie choice: 182 days, after which the banner asks again. In the United States, analytics is then on again until you turn it off.
